StandX Shutting Down Perp DEX and Cancels Token Launch
Decentralized perpetual futures exchange StandX is winding down operations after serving more than 237,000 users, canceling its planned token launch in favor of a DUSD airdrop.

Decentralized perpetual futures exchange StandX has announced plans to shut down its operations and cancel its planned token launch following a review of its business and market conditions. Founded by former Binance Futures head Aaron Gong and other industry veterans, the platform served more than 237,000 users and saw its total value locked peak above $200 million since its mainnet launch in November 2025.
Phased Shutdown and Trading Restrictions
Instant Telegram notifications for large on-chain moves.
According to an announcement by the platform, all yield distributions stopped on October 15, including DUSD yield, Position Yield, Community Maker Yield, and referral commissions. New vault creation and deposits are no longer accepted. Normal trading continues until October 20, at which point perpetual futures contracts enter reduce-only mode, preventing traders from opening new positions or adding exposure.
New user registrations, DUSD minting, Block Trades, and Block Options also close on October 20. By January 15, 2027, StandX will cancel outstanding orders, automatically close remaining open positions at the prevailing mark price, and execute vault settlements. Users have until January 31, 2027, to withdraw assets from their wallets or submit DUSD redemption requests.
DUSD Airdrop Replaces Token Launch
StandX has abandoned its previously planned platform token launch. Instead, the project will distribute DUSD directly to eligible users without lockup periods using remaining revenue and contributions from the founding team. An eligibility checker goes live on October 26, with claims opening on November 1 and closing on December 31.
Eligible participants can claim tokens through existing StandX wallet addresses on BNB Chain or Solana. Allocations factor in pre-deposits, Alpha phase participation, mainnet trading, market making, and referrals, subject to anti-Sybil and wash-trading checks.
