BNB Chain Smart Contract Deployments Triple to 12.3M in Q3

BNB Chain recorded 12.3 million smart contract deployments in the third quarter of 2026, representing a 173% surge from 4.5 million in Q2, according to an October 28 update citing data from Blockworks' Q3 token-holder report. The jump in contract creation occurred despite a 14% drop in average daily active addresses to 2.10 million.

AI Agents and App Usage

Unique daily contract deployers rose 13% quarter-over-quarter to approximately 5,100. Growth in total deployments significantly outpaced deployer growth, indicating increased automated contract creation. Token creation nearly tripled to 2.59 million launches, driven by launchpads Flap with 2.02 million tokens and Four.meme with 568,000.

BNB Smart Chain also captured approximately 61% of tracked ERC-8004 AI agent registrations, recording 330,604 out of 544,574 across networks. BNB Agent Studio delivered four software updates between July and September, introducing wallet security controls, x402 paid data access, and automated deployment integrations. Meanwhile, prediction market Predict.fun processed 45.3 million transactions, up from 2.2 million in Q2, accounting for about 40% of the network's net transaction increase.

Tokenized Stocks Drive Revenue Growth

Tokenized-equity trading volume expanded to $25.6 billion in Q3, up from $2.4 billion in Q2. Decentralized exchanges handled $24.4 billion of that activity, while Ondo Global Markets processed $1.2 billion. The network ended September with $1.13 billion in tokenized-equity supply across 1.8 million holders.

Total network revenue climbed 54% to $54.2 million, comprising $49.1 million in transaction fees and $5.1 million in MEV payments. Trading router GMGN generated $8.8 million in fees, contributing over a third of the quarterly increase in fee revenue.
