Bitget Announces Cash Dividend Settlement for ACNSTOCKUSDT

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget announced that its ACNSTOCKUSDT stock perpetual contracts will soon undergo a cash dividend settlement in accordance with the underlying company's dividend schedule. According to Bitget_Announcements, the process is scheduled to begin gradually from October 13, 2026, at 08:00:00 (UTC+8), with a dividend of $1.71 per share.

Settlement Rules and Impact on Positions

The settlement mechanism applies adjustments directly to open positions based on a snapshot taken at the time of settlement. Long position holders will receive the corresponding dividend amount based on their position size, credited to their account as a funding fee. Conversely, short position holders will have the corresponding dividend amount deducted based on their position size, charged as a funding fee.

Users who hold no open positions at the time of settlement are excluded from the process. For accounts holding both long and short positions under the same UID, positions will be netted before the settlement takes place.

User Actions and Trading Continuity

Bitget noted that normal contract trading functions will continue to operate as usual during the settlement period. Users who do not wish to participate in the cash dividend settlement or incur dividend deductions are advised to close their relevant positions before October 13, 2026, at 08:00:00 (UTC+8).

The exchange advised holders of high-leverage short positions to pay particular attention, as dividend deductions may significantly impact their margin ratio. Traders are encouraged to check and top up their margin accordingly before the specified deadline.
